    Help using "AutoCAD Today" feature

I get this error message (using AutoCAD 2000i) when I open it ("today" at
    command line):
    .................................................. ...........................
    .............
"Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this
page. As a result, the page may not display correctly."

    Line: 1
    Char: 1
Error: Object doesn't support this property or method
    Code: 0
    URL: file://C:\Program Files\AutoCAD 2000i\actoday.htm

Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?

    .................................................. ...........................
    ....
I tried adjusting my security settings on Internet Explorer (medium low)...

I have Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 also...(I recently just upgraded from
5.0, but I never used "AutoCAD Today", so I don't know that it worked before
    either). Any suggestions?

I'd suggest just dropping it. "Today" was eliminated after 2000i because it
was a nightmare. Next time you upgrade it will be gone, so there's not much
point in getting dependent on it.

Maybe, in theory, but it broke with awesome regularity, and if you had Acad
configured to run the monster on startup, it would prevent Acad from from
running at all *when* (not if) it broke the next time, forcing a complete
    reinstall.
