    Remote Office LD3

    Hello

Would this be the correct area to discuss how to set up a remote office to
run LD3. All the project data would be located at the remote office but the
license will be served from the main office via T1.

At this point there a three remote offices. Each office is having the same
problem. LD3 is slowing way down. Taking minutes to save or load an xref.
The LD3 program and the drawing files and data files are all located at the
remote office. Again, only the license is served from the parent office.

Any thoughts from you would be appreciated.

Yes, this is the perfect area. Thanks for mentioning the product and
version, which is assumed with most of the other newsgroups.

    Some options:

    1. Borrow the license when needed, and disconnect from the network entirely
    when using it.
    2. Solve the performance problem. The network license takes very minimal
traffic. Perhaps your support paths are still searching network drives? If
it's still slow with a borrowed license, that will point to the problem.
