    re-install r2004

    Hi,
I want to re-install a r2004 license (single) on the same laptop (OS upgrade) I found a document on how to do this (copy C-dilla dir) but the documents says it's only valid for 2000-2002 licenses. Will it work for r2004 too ? Is there a document available on how to do this with a r2004 map license ?

Can I export the license to another PC where there's already a license map running, will there be a conflict, btw these licenses have the same sernr (ADN licenses).

    thx

Yes, the same process works for AutoCAD 2004, except the licenses are stored
    here:
    "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
    Data\Macrovision\SafeCast\Product Licenses"

Yes, a PC can hold more than one license for the same product, with the same
serial number. You'll see all of them in the Portable License Utility. It
really won't matter which one you export back. The same process will work
for Map or any of the verticals.

    More info: http://www.autodesk.com/activation.

Yes. See your Standalone Licensing Guide in the Help system.
