File Locking on a Novell 6.5 network

I have some problems with my AutoCAD 2002 and file locking.
When I open a file it lock the file and that is correct but when I close it,
it keeps locked.

If I deactivate Off-linefiles in Windows 2000 it is only locked in 30 sec.

We use Novell Client 4.83sp3 and 4.9 sp2 and it is the same problem.

Try turning file caching off on the clients.
Novell client properties,
Advanced settings,
File caching.
