AutoCAD 2002 settings are being reset

Some of our users try to open AutoCAD after all the network licenses are
being used up. This seems to reset most of their tools/options settings back
to the default. Does anyone have any suggestions or comments on why this
    would happen?

    Thanks,

    George Jackson
