    Modify Deployment NIW ADT 2005

I have created a network deployment for ADT2005 which took quite awhile. I
modified paths to they would fall outside of the doc/settings folder. It
installed fine. The problem occured when I want to modify deployment. I get
    the following error.

This is an invalid deployment file - I choose ok and it allows me to
reselect the same image. I do so and the second time it lets me in, I change
items - it then crashes out on me. I then have to delete image, recreate,
and it will then work. However modifying would be much more convienant, not
sure why it bails on me when I select that - any ideas??

    Thanks
    Jim

I had a similar issue. What seemed to cause it was creating a new
image/deployment with ADT2005 service pack 1 attached to it the first time
through. The way I solved it was to create the deployment without the
patch. Once finished, I went back into NIW, and modified the deployment by
applying the service pack. Once I did this, the NIW stopped giving me the
invalid deployment file message and I could modify the deployment to my
heart's content with no errors. HTH.
