Citrix Server and ADT2005

[Reid M. Addis]

I'd like to put a copy of our networked licensed ADT2005 on our Citrix
server for remote access.
If I'm correct, I believe ADT2005 needs to create a folder structure under
c:\documents and settings for each user that starts up the program (it does
that on our local client machines anyway).

Is there any alternative way to do this, like having a single common folder
structure? If not, does anyone have any experience with ADT or AutoCAD 2005
on a citrix server (I know it will be dog slow!).

We do not support running on Citrix and it actually violates the license
agreement.

Hello Reid,

I believe running any Autodesk software in a Citrix environment is a violation of the End User License Agreement. Another alternative is running FlexLM.

Bud,

I was told by someone (from Autodesk) prior to release 2005 shipping,
that Citrix WOULD be supported and they all you needed to do is contact
your reseller for an EULA exclusion to allow such a use.

Did this change or was it incorrect information?

Not sure who told you this but it would take more the ULA to make it work.
So it's not supported at this time.
