    Civil Network License for laptops

I finally figured out that the NIC card needs to be left in the laptop for me to check out a AutoCAD license from the network pool, but I cannot seem to check out a Civil license, even with the Portable License Utility. Is it possible? Or can I only check out a AutoCAD license and not a Civil license
    Thanks

It's confusing. The Portable License Utility is only for standalone
licenses. AutoCAD 2004 and 2005 has a feature to let laptop users "borrow"
a network license. Don't know what Civil has; see if Help | About shows
    your license type.
