Thread: Tiff images on 2005 Network install.

Tiff images on 2005 Network install.

I have a 2000i drawing file with an attached tiff image that, when loaded onto a 2005 Networked Version, will not resolve the image and shows that it is unsupported. The same drawing file when loaded to a stand alone 2005 version loads the image no problem. Is there a setting that is incorrect in the network install?
Thanks in advance for any solutions.

"Unsupported" looks like a TIFF format error. Are you sure the local and
networked versions are the same (or e.g. US/non-US)? Non-US versions of
AutoCAD 2005 do not support LZW-compressed TIFF files.

    Bruce,

There have been some issues with the dlls not being installed correctly with
Network Installations. Please look on the Product CD for the files
"ielzwdec80.dll" & "iegifrd80.dll". These need to be copied to the
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Autodesk Shared folder.

Thanks for the replies. I will check into both situations to see if they were installed correctly.
