slow saving to mac os xserve

my firm recently installed a mac xserve on the network and since then i have had about a 10 second "lock-up" delay when saving back to the server. i'm using ADT 3.3 in windows 2000. does anyone know how to resolve this? i think the mac server might be trying to resolve the file type, but i really don't know.

Not likely, but it may be due to how the networking side is configured. I would push this through your network/server folks to look into it more.
