Quick Network installation and profile question.

We are currently using LDD 2000i. I am about to upgrade all the users to
land 2005 and have a question.

What is the best way to setup so that when I eventally make custom
menus/buttons it will be easiest to transfer to all users?

Which files is it that actally control the position and setup of the user
    interface? ie menu placement...etc

    Thanks for the help.

It would be better to leave all the pats and files pointing to the users
local app data? Making a central location for that information would make it
impossible for a user to customize there menus and sucks correct?

    Eddie,

I have a central location for all customization on the server, when I create modify the customization, it updates all users AutoCAD after they close ACAD and get back in.

Create a dir on server, placing custom menus, routines, etc and add path to support search path. Remember the search path is limited to 800 char or less

The connectivity to the clients can be done in several ways:

Create a profile of the STOCK machine and push the profile through the deployment image

Create a profile and load it through Lisp, VBA, etc

The files that control the user interface and settings are the AutoCAD profiles and menu files
