Where is the run from network instalation mode in acad 2005?

With acad 2000, we had it running of our serevr, only a small portion of the
software then was installed local. No problems. As we have a lot of roaming
users, first time startup was this way pretty fast. '
Now with acad 2005 the "run from network" is gone, this means each time a
student is using a fresh workstation he has to wait until 400mb is installed
local. And since we have 500 apps, over 2500 workstations, adding it to an
image is no option. Because each user should be able to work anywhere.
Software distribution is dome with Novell Zenworks.

Wait, wait wait. Am I hearing this? You apparantly have the bandwidth to run 500 concurrent users through the wire without any reported perfomance lags, and you're complaint is the ammount of time it takes to periodically push a 400Mb install. On a 100Mb connection that's-what-four minutes?
It's only my opinion, but I'd look at imaging the machines with the configured software or push the install to all of your unconfigured machines during down-time.
