Is it possible to lock *.dwg file as read only with password

    Greetings:

I am wondering if it is possible to lock a *.DWG file as read-only.
Without password, it won't allow people to alter the contents of the
drawing. Something like Acrobat security options allowing people
printing, marking it up but not able to modify it in anyway without a
    pwd.

Thanks for your time and help.

You answered the question yourself. Use a PDF plot with read only attributes
    set by a password.

Thank you all for your advice and help.

Since the customer request the drawing in *.dwg format, so my only
solution is cadlock. I will give it a shot.
