Find the author

I would like to know if is possible
to find the author of a draw, starting from
the file .dwg.
Like with an Hex editor and a word's file.

If it exists in the drawing, yes. The author, title, subject, etc.
can be set in AutoCad under the File->Drawing Properties menu. If i
set the author here, save and open the file in notepad I can find the
exact text I entered in the file.

However, unless this information was entered, you aren't going to find
it. None of the drawings we create have the author set for example.
