Basic Plotting

I'm looking to buy a new laser printer for my home office.

I won't be doing a lot of serious plotting and whatever prints I do create will only be on regular 8.5 x 11 paper.

What's out there that won't break my wallet but wont crash out and take 6 months to print a drawing?

realistically, you tell us how little or maximum you want to spend, others
then have an idea on what to suggest.

good point.

as little as possible. but realistically, less than 400 bucks would be nice.

Laser, US$400 and good/reliable with AutoCAD ;)

Lexmark tends to be reliable.....but I only have a inkjet, not a laserjet.
I've not heard anything bad about them, though.
