Control-C and Control-V does not work in my AutoCAD 2005. Does anyone know how to fix this?

What the H*&& is going on? Look at 2004 discussion group - another company is having the same
    problem.

What do you mean by 'they don't work'?

When you Ctrl+C or Ctrl+V, what do you see at the command prompt? You should
see either _copyclip or _pasteclip. Do you see something else? Nothing at
    all?

I started having trouble with my cut & paste. It happened when I was editing
    my acad.lsp & acaddoc.lsp.
I don't know what I did to them to mess them up but that's where my problem
    was at.

It caused erratic behavior... The first drawing I opened it worked in & the
second did not & visa versa.

Mine are not checked and still can cut and paste.

When I try to use "copy with base point", and enable "pickfirst".
I selected the entities to be copy and pick the base point, ACAD2005 ask me
to re-select the entities again, anyone have this problem too and have
    solution to fix it!

    Thx,

    Ken
