    dimensions and cuting pipes

I am a fire sprinkler designer, and was wondering if there was a way that i can take 2" away from all of my dimensions for the cut sheets i send to my fabrication shop, these 2"s are for the fittings that i do not want to show there cause we all know they are there, but i do have to take them into consideration while dimensioning and listing.

i hope this is clear enough to get an answer.. take care..

You want to change your dimensions by 2"? You will either have to stretch your objects or edit the dimensions.

If everyone knows they are there, Why don't they take the 2" into account?

May not be want you are looking for but you could put the following in the
suffix section under the dim style dialogue box \X cut dimensions to be
    minus 2"
and this would then appear everytime you place a dim. just a thought

is there any reason you are not using an add-on such as SprinkCad that does
    all that and more??
