    AutoCAD 2005 Deployment won't finish

    Hi,

I have successfully installed the license manager on our network and gone through the network deployment wizard for AutoCAD 2005. At the final step, it asks you to confirm your settings and click “Next”. After clicking next, it installs all the files from the CD, but does not get to the “Finish” screen as shown in the manual. If I click next again, it says it is verifying the files, but again, it stays on the confirm settings screen.

Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Dan

In response to my own question (in case anyone else has this problem in the future), it seemed to be an issue with the anti-virus software. Even though I disabled it, it must still have been functioning at some level.

I ended up installing the network installation wizard on my workstation (with anti-virus off) and installing to the network share folder from there instead of installing directly on the network server.

    Thanks for posting your results.
How about what kind of virus protection was running on the server, just for clarification.

Symantec AntiVirus is running on our server and on the individual workstations. I think this software was keeping the installation wizard from writing the deployment script.
