I assume your wanting to create a plot file from another cad package.
Just let your package make a hpgl2 plot files ( choose any hpgl2 plotter
and print to file not paper)
Microstation and other CAD packs generally cannot read a plot filethey can
only create them. these can then be sent later to a plotter or printer
with
the copy command later .
or in my case I do a drawing for client (who doesn't have my cad package)
make a plot file and send him the plot file he can print it but can't
steal
and edit it easily and without paying me he wont get the design or cad
file.
If you want to see what the plot file will produce in advance download
trial
version of View companion it will let you preview and print HPGL2 plot
files
and also let you convert them to many other formats its also very very
cheap..
Especially for you as you'd better see what your going to get before you
pay
to see it on paper..
I have had the bad experience of creating post script files only to have
them comeback telling me I had some setting wrong as they are all black
and
white... poor example but you see what I mean as to not being able to see
what you have created or converted out of your cad file even though it
looked fine in cad..

I need to creat plot files for Microstation drawings. I do not have
Microstation. Is there a converter that will create plot files (save to
file as
plot file). I have Bentley converter but it won't save to Plot files. I
have to
take my plot files to a print vendor.
