    Custom Line Styles - How To

    I have spent some time, to no avail, attempting to create a concrete
    construction joint custom line style that would look something like this:

    /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

    I have managed to create "points" consisting of

    1.) one sequence ==> \/\
    2.) and a sequence series ==> /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

    I have created a named line style called "CJ". This is as far as I can get.
    After saving to the linestyle resource file I initiated the "place line"
    command after selecting my new custom line. All I get are the line style
    symbols I created (single sequence and sequence series) spread apart with
    long empty gaps in between the symbology.

    Can someone lay out a step-by-step set of instructions or point me to an
    internet site with clear, precise easy to comprehend language. The help
    documentation, as usual with program supplied help files, is somewhat hard
    to follow.

    I am running Microstation J on Microsoft XP2000 OS.

    thanks..........
