    freeze/thaw/switch off layers

hi.. i can freeze a layer in paperspace via a viewport, with the layer still showing in modelspace, which is fine...

what i have been trying to do is to NOT show a particular layer in model space, but have it showing in paperspace via a viewport...

the job is done but i was wondering if any1 new a way....

    thankyou-pleesh...

Thats the way it works ... freeze it in model affects all ....freeze it in
current viewport affects only that viewport.

It only works one way, not the other. You can't freeze or turn off in model
and have it on in layout.
