    Problem Opening Files

Suddenly I cannot open files as before, by either selecting "File" and
"Open", or by clicking the printer icon in AutoCAD 2000i. When I do so, I
get "Enter name of drawing to open <.>", instead of the "Select File"
window. I can still double-click on the file names in Windows Explorer to
open a drawing, but not the other way.

My OS is Windows XP, and I haven't done anything to the machine, such as
    installing Service Pack 2.

    Any ideas? Thanks....

Well, I don't know how it happened (filedia was set on "0"), but that
certainly fixed it! Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your input....

Let's just say that I know from experience that it seems to change at
    random.
