Help with License File ASAP |
|
|
I'm trying to install the Autodesk Design Academy using the network licenses. Inventor Pro 8, Mechanical Desktop 200 and VIZ 2005 work fine so does VIZ render for ADT 2005. However, when I go into Architectural Desktop 2005 and Autocad 2005 I get a license error [1.5 -5]. I'm running the license server ver 8.3c on a Win 2K server. The clients are either XP or 2000.
I've tried multiple license files so I doubt that Autodesk sent me a faulty one. Was I correct just to add everything after the Increment line to the working file.
Also, in the debug file it says "License server does not support this feature (-18,327). I'm not sure if this will help.
I'm new to this program and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For AutoCAD 2005 (and all the 2005 products), you need to install the
license server that comes with it (version 9, I believe). It will be
backward compatible with the other versions.
Here's the directions for combining license files:
http://usa.autodesk.com/getdoc/id=TS65928
It sounds like an error in combining the files.
