Hi -

Is there a way to point previous installs (installed in trial mode) of
AutoCAD 2005 to the network license manager? Our guy did not create a
deployment. Just installed the software.

Thank you!

Lee

Sorry

IMHO it's not possible to change the licensing from local to network
manually.

I know it's possible for AutoCAD 2004.

i exported the registry key from one machine which has a running NLM version. after that when i installed the trial versions i only had to import the registry key into the registry of the workstation which has the trial version. when you startup AutoCAD it comes up with the license server finder, just fill in the server name and it's running. The only negative point is that the serial in the about box will remain the demo serial number.

but for 2005 i don't know if that will work.
