font plotting problems |
|
|
I'm having a major problem plotting a few fonts on my HP600. I'm using
AutoCAD 2002 and if I am logged in as the computer administrator the fonts
plot out just fine, However if I plot when logged in as myself (user with
admin rights) the fonts only plot out as an outlind and not solid filled.
This also happens when printing to a pdf file. I use a lot of Arial and
Times New Roman fonts. Does anyone have any idea as to what might fix the
problem.
Thanks in advance
Lachlan

WOW!!
That solved my problem. I never thought that it'd be different between
Administrator and my login.
Thanks

A lot of the settings are saved in the registry in one of the registry
sections that is different for each user. A good idea, i suppose, for
offices that have multiple people using the same computer where each
wants their own settings, but we have never needed or used it that way
ourselves. I rather miss the days when all the autocad settings were
saved in a the acad.cfg file and you could quickly setup a new
workstation by simply copying that file.

Thanks for posting your question. We have had that problem too and it's been |
a minor irritation for a while.
I had not had time to actually sit down and start researching the problem.
You saved me some time!
Thanks,
