We have recently upgraded from ADT 3.3 to ADT 2005, We used you use Textmask
from express tools (which uses the "Wipeout" routine). Now that we upgraded
we started using the Mtext Background Masks instead of Textmask. We still
use the Wipeouts for Dimensions. The problem we have now is when we plot.
Where ever we use the New Mtext Background Masks all we print is Black
Boxes, but the Wipeouts print correctly, what is the problem? TIA

Sorry, Albert. I don't have an answer to your question, but I noticed that
you still use wipeouts for dimensions. Do you know about the setting for
"Fill color" in the dimension style dialog under the Text tab? Just
checking.

This looks like it's driver specific. I tried it with LDT2005 on our OCE
TDS600 and got just the opposite - even though plot preview looks fine, *no*
mask comes out - lines are visible right through the Mtext. The same thing
happens on our HP DesignJet 1055CM. But it works perfect on our HP LaserJet
5000!

Since it works on some plotter/printers but not others, I really think it
must be driver issues. 'Guess I'll try downloading the latest to see if the
situation is improved - 'might take me a few days, though...
