Hy!

I have two license files:
- AutoCAD 2002
- ADT2005

and would like to use only ONE License Server. I tried with using lmgrd.exe -c c:\flexlm (c:\flexlm is folder where license files for ADT2005 and AutoCAD2002 are) and it worked just fine. Both licenses were read and applications on client computers was working.

How to set up Flexlm to start with the parameter -c c:\flexlm as a Windows Service, so that server starts up at computer start up?

Now I have to start up lmgrd.exe -c c:\flexlm manualy and this is nost what I want! ;-) Or is there any other solution for my case?

I'm using Windows server 2003 and Flexlm 9.22

To my understanding, that isn't a supported configuration, so you're
not likely to get support if something blows up...

However, this is the way that ESRI is delivering their license files
now, and it seems to work for them. I recently manually set up an
ESRI license service using the gui (lmtools? lmutil? can't remember
which). I believe that I just had to type or copy/paste the path in
by hand, as the file browser did not allow choosing directories.

The easiest way to go is to use lmtools.exe that has a simple UI for this.
