I am unable to create a I-Beam with AutoCad Symbols and AutoCad 2000i. Just thinking this would be no problem at all.
I used the example on page 626 for Tabulated Surface Mesh.
I copied a steel symbol over from the AutoCad Symbols created a direction vector. When I click on the steel symbol, I get this error. Path curve object not usable to define tabulated surface. I also tried to extrude the surface with no luck. The only thing I can get to work is to explode the object then use Ruled Surface Mesh on the individual pieces. Anyone have some ideas to get it to work with the steel symbols in Autocad Symbols?
