Disappearing lines |
|
|
I'm using Acad 2002
When trimming ends off lines at the end of the command the lines that have
had their ends trimmed disappear from view also but as soon as I touch the
mouse wheel (zoom) they reappear .
Is this a regen or system variable problem within acad or something from
elsewhere?
Thanks for any advice
Dave

Sounds like an issue with your video card or driver. Be sure you have the
latest driver provided by the manufacturer of your card; and if that doesn't
solve the problem, try adjusting the level of hardware acceleration in
Control Panel / Display / ...

I've had similar and more troublsome issues with ADT 3.3 (uses the Acad
2k2 engine). very glitchy graphics system. redaw/regen issues.
graphical crashing issues, hardware acceleration problems.. the list
goes on and on..
to be quite honest i think 2k2 was a bit of a dud... 2k4 rocks though..
hardly have problems with it (much less then 2k2)
for some reason i found that it (2k2) ran better when i had norton
system works running.
this was on an NT (3.51) workstation by-da-by.. you may have various
results.
concultion: if yer two broke to up to 2k4 or 2k5 then live with regen
issues.
rock on

We've also had other problems on other programs, something to do with .dll
missing looks like we'll have to get a man in. If after that we still have
Cad problems I'll come back to ya
Thanks again
