My cousin gave me a copy of Autocad 2000 which he made for me. The cd will not autorun. How will I be able to install Autocad 2000 from that cd ? Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

a.) AutoCAD is a licensed product (might tell your cousin to read his EULA)
or whoever gave him his "copy"

b.) That license does not include the right to "make a copy" and freely
distribute

c.) This is an Autodesk sponsered Server

d.) If you wouldn't mind replying with your name/address/phone number (and
your cousin's) someone will get back to you on it shortly. <g>

Cost of a blank CD: Under $1.00
Making an illegal copy: Free (at least for non-paying pirates)
Posting that very fact on a public server hosted by the vendor: Priceless!

See Tracy's reply. Also Autodesk Piracy has been given your
message to review.

Sounds like you need to erase your hard drive and reinstall the
operating system. If that doesn't work the tech support at (800)
662-6743 should be able to help.

How did you move files from your old hard disk to your new one? It could be
a registry problem; most likely some kind of installation problem. How
exactly are you launching AutoCAD: from the Start menu, or from a shortcut?

Check Add/Remove Programs to see if you have more than one version of
AutoCAD installed. Best bet is to uninstall and reinstall it.
