A friend of mine using ACAD2000 complains that his previous setting is gone;
he wants the 'file open' dialog to "remember" (highlight) the last drawing
that was opened (so it is easy to pick the next one). He says acad does go
to the right directory (the one used last time a dwg was opened), but
doesn't highlight the last opened dwg.
I tested on my 2004, and it behaves the way he want his 2000 to do.

Is there a setting for this in Acad or Windows?

TIA
Peter

Is your R2000 friend in WindowsXP by chance?
I assume you are in WinXP or Win2000 with 2004, correct?
