Function Key - MDL Command Syntax |
|
|
I am trying to assign a "mdl load infosnap" and a "mdl unload
infosnap" command to a single function key. Each hit of the F key
will either load or unload the mdl similar to how I can turn axis lock
on or off with the command "axis lock toggle" assign to my F8 key.
QUESTION: Is this possible? If yes, How?
Thanks in advance to any and all responses.......

Hi,
No, to my knowledge it is not possible.
But the question is why you want to do it?
InfoSnap has a fair number of keyins which can be used to enable/disable
some parts of its functionality. Some of them work as toggles. Probably the
end result would be the same as loading/unloading the whole thing.

I use the tenative button to bring up the popup with my selection
choices of information but the popup occasionally becomes a hinderance
when I do not need it. I edited the standard menu to include mdl load
and unload commands as a semi-quick means to enable and disable the
app but I much prefer function keys (preferably a single f key). This
is how I toggle graphic group, axis, locks on and off.
I also have been unable to activate the app in two concurrent sessions
of Microstation. |

Use keyin: INFOSNAP MUTE
Does it help?

Yep, I start the mdl with a key-in tied into the menubar and then use
the INFOSNAP MUTE on a function key (F9)
thanks..... |
