plate development program for Microstation |
|
|
Has anyone heard of a plate development program for Microstation?
something that will take basic geometric surfaces & expand them out flat for
you, show bend lines etc automatically (mainly cones, square to round, those
sort of shapes)
I've seen that sort of thing for autocad but not ustn.
Failing that, a standalone app that does not require autocad to run?
Regards,
Chris Smart.

I thought Microstation modeller in 3d did all that?
I know Solid Edge does sort of.... but you want a sheet metal proggy....
try google with sheet metal "modelling or cad"
There us to be a 3rd party addon mdl for SE that did this but not for V8...
Have you spoken to Bentley Select... you may even be entiltled to a
freebee..
