Hi,

Been following Dr. Alice tutorial at

http://www2.ncsu.edu:8010/unity/lockers/project/graphicscourse/gc/acadtut/acadtut2000/tutor3framed.html

trying to learn how to hide hidden lines in paper space. The tutorial says:

"Now, type prop or at a Command: prompt or select Properties on the Modify menu. "

but the command PROP returned an "unknown command" error message in AutoCAD 2004. Is this command only available in Acad 2000 or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.

Peter,

The command is PROPERTIES

As stated use the Puldown Menu: Modify > Properties

There is also a Properties Toolbar Button on the STANDARD toolbar

At the command line: PROPERTIES[enter]

And the Keyboard shortcut: CTRL+1

And last but not least there is also the default command alias: MO[enter]

You should try and use the Help files, start off on the Contents Tab and
look through the User's Guide and Command Reference... If you had looked at
the + Command Reference > + Comands > + P Commands > + Properties you could
have possibly answered your own question.

Help is probably the most under utilized command or feature... try it.
