I'm looking for a DWG viewer that can be:

1. distributed in a program
2. allows the user to only view and redline the drawing
3. is a viewer online (activeX plugin preferred)

The viewer can be an .Net component or it can be a program that is sent
along with the program.

If anyone has an idea of what and where I can find one, it would be
much appreciated. I have done numerous searches but always come up
with the same 2 (DrDWG and infographs) and neither of those two will do
what we need.

thanks,

Micah

VeCAD may be an option. It seemed to handle DWG well with a very
small foot print. It's more of a component that you could add your
own front end to (or modify their example), so you could have a view
only and readline features. I'd guess you could base an activex
plugin on it as well. Possibly more work than you wanted, but another
possibility.

It has been in my experience that inconsistencies are easier to spot on a
plotted sheet rather than a cad drawing. If possible buy an 11x17 scanner
and send redlined comments as pdf's. Yet another option.
