Would anyone know why there is a "pregnant" pause when I make a select a
couple of objects to modify? I don't know if something has been changed in
my variables or what. The drawing is not complex and the laptop is faster
than my desktop.
Any help would be appreciated,

Okay to clarify,
When selecting items to modify by window it takes an inordinate amount of
time for the selection set to be selected.
I have tried purging the drawing. It is not an overly large drawing and not
complex.
Any clues?
