I am having some difficulty with my puck button assignments. I am running Autocad 2000 with a GTCO Calcomp DrawingBoard IV. I have walked through Tabletworks to setup up the buttons and activated them. When I try to create a line with the assigned button, it has already the first point selected. What it looks like is that it has skipped to the next step in the function??
I have referenced an article at the GTCO Calcomp web site, stating to change the .MNU file replacing the ^C^C with a 3 in the BUTTONS section.
Well, when I do that I get back from Autocad "3_line Unknown command "3_LINE".
Obviously Autocad does not under stand what the 3 means.
Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong.

Thanks in advance.
Craig

Here is a Combination to put in the menu...this should fix your problem

$S=X $S=LINE ^C^CLINE

If you have any problems i can send you my menu button configuration, you could see how you liked it.
