Hi all.

I'm desperately needing help! I am looking for the correct UK standard for electrical symbols (e.g. sockets, switches, light fittings)

I have a book which has an excerpt from BS 1192: Part3: 1987, however that standard has been withdrawn and I can't find a direct replacement for it and other books all show vastly different symbols.

Architects that I work with have sent me the symbols that they use but they don't correlate to the BS ones or to other symbols I have seen.

Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Or if anyone could email me anything useful I would be extremely grateful!

E: info@grahamgrant.co.uk

I am currently designing some hotel interiors and need symbols for the basics plus other things like LV spotlights, chandeliers, floor lamps and various types of architectural lighting.

Thanks all in advance,

Graham
