Re: FlexLM over internet |

The product license agreement prohibits sharing licenses over the raw
internet. It is OK to use private connections such as VPN in which case you
should not have this problem.

In our office we use AutoCAD on different locations and have only one
license server. When we're using AutoCAD2002 with FlexLM 5.3 it works just |
fine. On my Windows Server 2000 I map ports 27000 - 27010 to internal IP
192.168.1.50 (License Server for AutoCAD2002) and that was it.
| Quote: | Problem comes with ADT2005 and new FlexLM 9. Now I have Licenses for
ADT2005 on the Windows Server2000 with 2 NICs (one connected to Internet and |
one for Internal Network with IP 192.168.1.254). Again I map port from
28000 -28010 to internal IP 192.168.1.254 and doesn't work anymore for
external users; abd in license file I wrote that Flexlm works on port
28000 - 28010. For Internal Network users there wasn't any problem and ADT
is working just fine. But External users get the massage with .-96 error
code.
