I would like to refer to an item number parametrically in a note so it
updates automatically when the parts list is re-sorted.

What I need to do, in SQL is:

&(SELECT asm_mbr_index WHERE asm_mbr_partno="123456")

Any way to do it in ProE?

There ought to be a way but there isn't

For this reason we fix all our indexes.
