plot area = "limits" on layout tab |
|
|
Everyone else in the office has the option, under plot settings, plot area, to select and use "LIMITS" to plot to from a layout tab.
I don't, and they say I'm weird. . . All I have is Layout, Extents, Display and Window
Does anyone know why?
Thanks.

| The option "limits" should replace "layout" when one plots from model space. Are you sure they aren't looking at the plot dialogue box when accessed from model space? |

The solution to your problem is found in "Options". Simply invoke the Options dialog box, select the Display tab, and deselect all check boxes, except "Display Layout and Model tabs". Finally, select OK to exit Options.
When you plot a layout, Limits will be an option, instead of Layout.
All this is applicable unless, of course, you are running 2005 and having problems with the plot dialog box like I currently am.
I wish you success in solving your problem. If this does not resolve your issue, e-mail me @ David.Cox@shawinc.com.
