I am converting our companies paper drawings into cad format and am
running into a number of drawings that have the term "TYP" next to
cross sectional dimensions. There is the standard table of tolerance in
the title block. I have only seen the term "TYP" used as a general
description as in the size of multiple holes or bend radii for sheet

TYP usually means Typical
