Does teh SAM Report Lite application have to be installed on the same machine as the license server, or can I install it on my own workstation?

If I can install it on my workstation, do I use my MAC address for licensing, or do I use the license manager MAC address?

You can install SAMreport on any system, I recommend that it be on an
administrator's desktop, not the license server itself. SAMreport is
licensed by the server(s) that produced the report log files, not the
machine it is running on. So, you will need to obtain a license file for
each server you have then combine the contents of all of the SAMreport
licenses using notepad. You cam then run reports against logs from any of
your servers or combine them all into a consolidated report.

How do we get the SAMreport license file that it is looking for during
installation?
