Is there a way to lock files in R14? I want to send some sample
drawings to a possible client via email. How can I protect my drawings?

send it as a pdf, they can still work it back but it is much harder, also
other cad lok type system are costly

Actually, it's not difficult at all. Open in Adobe Illustrator and then
SaveAS .DXF. :-)

CADLOCK is the only way. http://www.cadlock.com/
