i imported splines from 3d max into cad and they are in dozens of little pieces and i want to make them into one spline so i can use the divide tool -but- when i go to use the edit poly line so i can convert them to a polyline and join --- it says object not parallel to ucs -------is any way i can get the objects parallell

Reorient you UCS so it is parallel to the segments.

Terry asked for a file to be posted to Customer Files. Here is
the information on how to find that group.

Customer Files is an area for upload of problem files for review
or sharing. Users are asked to zip any files prior to uploading
to conserve download time and server space.
