There was a version of AutoCAD that exported the drawing to XML. Whatever became of that?

DesignXML. It was an add-on to 2000 or 2000i and may have been in 2002 as
well but has since been discontinued in leiu of dwf - even though xml and
dwf represent different types of transactions.
