Here is Lynn Allen's tip for paper space:
_________________________________
"Tip. Do you have difficulty getting inside a viewport that's embedded within another viewport? -R makes it easy to toggle through all of your viewports one at a time. This used to be assigned to -V, a more logical combination, but Windows snatched that for Paste."

This is what I go with the -V command in Acad2000:

Command: -v
-VIEW Enter an option [?/Orthographic/Delete/Restore/Save/Ucs/Window]:

but it is not toggling between the viewports!

I have difficult getting into a Viewport embedded within another bigger viewport. How do I easily get into that?

Thanks Hendie

ctrl+R worked just fine

Someone should get Lynn Allen to correct this little typo in her article at Cadalyst

Sorry, what is that? Did I make a typo in my post or did my post sound offensive? Didn"t mean any offence to the formidable Lynn Allen, just thought that -R is a typo which should read ctrl+R

I think Dean just meant why not you contact the writer and suggest the
correction.

Don't work in Autodesk nor have her email address.

The entire conversation was sent to Lynn a couple of days ago.

You contact CADALYST to make the typo-correction: it's where you got the
article from, they printed and published it, it's their typo to correct.
http://www.cadalyst.com for contact info.

I very very seriously doubt ever that Lynn Allen made such a drastic error:
it's basic AutoCAD function that has been around for years, if you took a
class or were shown by a seasoned user how to use the program it was
discussed in detail.
