I am trying to install a HP 800ps plotter. It works just fine when printing under windows. It will not print through acad 2000. I have to run acad 2000 in compatibility mode with older windows to get it to even run. Anybody have some info on how I can get it to plot to the plotter?

R2000 requires the plotupdate patch to be installed to work with Windows
drivers and fix issues.
R2000 is not supported in WindowsXP: means autodesk is not interested in
ever fixing any problems anyone encounters with that combination (that
version was not designed for XP).

Worth skipping the PS driver, AutoCAD does not do PS and you don't need to
wait any longer than you have to for a plot.
