viewport |

is thier anyway of saving a viewport zoom or configuration, because i have too edit a spline but its important it stays in the zoom position on the screen for printing purposes (i have about ten layers in different positions and have to be printed at thatposition to preserve consistency) but editing the spleen would be a hell of a lot easier if i could zoom in and then send it back to its origional zoom thanks nmx

Save it as a VIEW while inside the viewport: look up that command in HELP in
AutoCAD.

| Editing the spline through a viewport? MS, Zoom in, do your thing, then zoom Previous, PS. Why not just change to model space (Tilemode Command or click on the tab) and do your editing? OR did I miss something? |

From what you are describing, there is a better solution than saving a view.
While in paperspace, select the viewport border and open object properties.
In the object properties dialog set "Display locked" to YES.
