AutoCad 2000i and Mcafee |

I am having a problem with Mcafee's on access scanner, When I open a drawing larger than 12mb I get "FATAL ERROR : Unhandled Access Violation Reading 000x4 Exception at 6544b3e9h". This happens with Mcafee 7.1 and 8.0i, I need to disable on access scan then it opens fine. I have recently formatted and reloaded Windows XP Pro, it worked fine before with no problems and it only occurs on one computer other computers work fine. If anyone has any ideas it would help. Autocad, Mcafee and Windows Xp are patched up to date. Thanks.

If all your systems were 100% identical, you should have no problems:
identify the variation and remove it (could be software, could be hardware,
could be both).

make sure that your mcafee version 8 / 2004 has been fully updated. there
are program updates that are automatically downloaded/installed when you
click the update button in the mcafee security control panel. the updates
are required for integration with windows xp service pack 2 and solve other
issues. if that alone does not solve your problem then consider opening the
mcafee panel, and select the antivirus tab, then selected options and
advanced... there you can turn on and off script checking and other things.
